Snake tongue
In this work, I reflect on the search for a voice and a way to communicate. The faceless figure represents the challenge of expressing identity, while the snake’s tongue symbolizes language, expression, and the desire to be heard. Living between languages, I often experience the tension between what I want to say and what I am able to say. The painting explores the space between silence and self-expression as both an artist and a woman.
